Hi there, Mary. Thanks for visiting planDisney. We're glad you're here!
Unfortunately,
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable, so they cannot be converted to
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. The two destinations are separate entities and have their own ticketing systems. I apologize if this isn't what you hoped to hear.
Fortunately, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired
Disneyland Resort theme park ticket "may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket." So, Mary, if you can't make a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth right now, hold on to that ticket and use it to purchase another ticket later.
Wherever your next Disney trip takes you, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
Disney Parks Instagram for great information on upcoming events, celebrations, and foods. These two places are where I start planning my next Disney adventures! The Disney Parks Blog just released the
Foodie Guide for Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort and there are so many spooky snacks I'm dying to try!
Thanks again, for stopping by, Mary. If I can answer anything else for you, please
let me know. I'd be happy to help!
See you real soon,
Melissa
