Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marilyn!
Isn't it fun to check out all of the exciting dining options at Walt Disney World? Some of our favorite dining experiences have been with the
Character Dining meals because, especially when my kids were very little, such magical memories were made when they would hug their favorite princess or character for the very first time. Seeing that sparkle in their eyes as they realized they were meeting a favorite character in person was so special! Now that they're older, we still love dining with the princesses and Mickey and his friends because you're never too old to get a photo with them and it's even more fun to chat with them now!
Last week we dined with Ariel and Prince Eric, and Rapunzel and Flynn for the first time at
Trattoria al Forno's Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. It is now one of our favorites. Eric spotted my son's Disney Cruise Line lanyard and chatted with him for quite a bit about life on the high seas, inviting him to come sail with Eric sometime on his ship. So much fun interacting with them!
If you're hoping to switch to a different reservation, just wait until the one you'd prefer becomes available. If you find one that falls at the same time slot as a current reservation, you'll then have the option online to swap, canceling the first and reserving the other in its place. If it is not during the same time, I'd recommend making the second reservation completely before canceling the first, just to be sure. Just read the cancellation information for each reservation to be sure you're
canceling within the allowed time so you're not charged.
Have fun, Marilyn!
