Are you able to share meals on the dinning plan at a table service restaurant to make them stretch further? Example: 10 people eating (4 adults, 6 children), only ordering 5 meals?

    HI Dana!

I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan! It saves time, money and stress!

You will not be able to share Table Service meals on the Disney Dining Plan. However, there are other great ways to save money and stretch your plan.

To save money, you can bring your own breakfast items to eat at the resort prior to departing to enjoy the parks. I like to bring my own protein bars, fresh fruit and healthy snacks, such as nuts, so I can stretch my money on food.

You will also get one rapid refill mug to get unlimited refills of soda and coffee at your resort, which will save you money. You can't use the mug in the park, but you can bring your own water bottle and fill up at the water fountains.

Another way to save money is to buy snacks that can serve as meals. For example, at Animal Kingdom at the Harambe Fruit Market you can get hummus and pretzels as a snack. This is a filling snack that can serve as a light lunch.

At some Quick Service locations, such as Pecos Bills, you can ask for fruit instead of french fries and instead of your dessert. You can save the fruit for a snack later in the day and save yourself from using a snack credit.

You can also book meal times at the all-you-care-to-eat buffet meals, such as Crystal Palace for in between meal times to serve as a combined lunch / dinner. If you eat a late lunch, you may only need a light snack at night.

    I hope these tips help!
    Magically,
    Stacy
