Arina,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
On your arrival day, regardless of when you get to your
Disney resort hotel, you definitely can use the resort pool. In fact, my family always plans an afternoon at the pool on our arrival day. Vacation is, in part, about relaxing. What better way to start a trip than with a dip in the pool?
As for changing rooms and lockers, some but not all the resorts have bathrooms with larger changing spaces out by their pools. They are not formal changing rooms necessarily, but they usually do the trick. Even so, typically our family just opts to change in the lobby restrooms. After we change, we simply check our luggage at the Bell Services desk. That way, whenever our room is ready, we can just collect our bags, go to our room, and prepare for a fun dinner at one of the Disney resorts.
BONUS TIP #1
The same rule applies on your departure day. After you check out of your room in the morning, you can leave your bags at the Bell Services desk, and then head off to the pool or the parks for that final dose of magic. Just remember to gather them up before heading off to home.
BONUS TIP #2If you use the
Online Check-In service, you don't even have to stop by the front desk after dropping off your bags. Instead, you will be sent a text when your room is ready, telling you the room number at that time on your
My Disney Experience App.
