I was able to make reservations at Sci-Fi-fi Dine in t 7:50pm, well after the 7pm closing time for Hollywood Studios. Are we permitted to walk around and take in the sights before our reservations?

Hiya, Sharon! Welcome back to planDisney! Prior to this yEAR, snagging a Pre-Park Opening Breakfast reservation was all the rage. 2020 has turned that trend upside down, and now Guests are clamoring for those After Park Close dining times. I think this is a Tiggeriffic way to maximize your time and get some of those awesome empty park pictures!

I spoke with Guest Services today, and they are encouraging Guests waiting for dining reservations not to walk around the park after closing time. However, I do have a suggestion for you! While the queues for most attractions will close at Theme Park closing, all the guests already waiting in the line will typically be allowed to ride (regardless of the wait time). Since Disney's Hollywood Studios closes at 7:00 PM, my suggestion would be to make sure you enter the queue a few minutes beforehand. Once you're done riding, you can snap some fun photos and head over to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant (you gotta try the Oreo Milkshake)! Keep in mind that this is an "unwritten rule," so your mileage may vary. The Cast Member I spoke to also mentioned that transportation will be running to accommodate these later dining times.

I hope you have a magical vacation, Sharon!
