Thank you for swinging by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Darlene! In just a few days, you will be in the middle of the magic and staying at one of my favorite
moderate Resorts,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, now featuring a
Disney Skyliner Transportation station, connecting its Guests to
Epcot and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You must be so excited to try it!
You can certainly ship a package to your
Disney Resort ahead of time. In fact, they will store packages that arrive up to ten days before the start of your vacation. Isn't it awesome?
When ordering online, be sure to remind the shipping company or online vendor to label your boxes carefully including the following information
-Guest Name (Lead guest, as listed in the reservation)
-Arrival Date (Also, have them write the word "GUEST" in big print so they know it is not for a Cast Member)
-Resort Name
-Resort's Full Address (City, State, and Zipcode) as listed on the official
Walt Disney World website (to be found below for your convenience)
1114 Cayman Way
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8411
(407) 934-3400Once you arrive, ask the Cast Member helping you with your check-in process to have a look in their storage room. Be sure to provide them with all the details you have about the package (tracking number, potential date and time of delivery, etc.) Keep in mind that every package received in your name will add a $6.00 (*prices are always subject to change without prior notice) fee to your room folio (reservation) for you to pay at check-out.
Darlene, please come see us again with any other question you may have.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation!
