Hiya, Pal!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your Florida Resident ticket question! As a fellow Floridian, I have to say—living so close to the Most Magical Place on Earth is truly a dream come true. With Disney practically in my backyard, there's nothing better than being able to pop over for a fun-filled day with my family!
It’s so thoughtful of you to want to purchase tickets for your granddaughter and her family—what a magical gift! For offers, all adults (ages 18 and older) must show valid
proof of Florida residency at the park entrance when purchasing Florida Resident tickets. The easiest way is with a valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued ID card, or Florida-based military ID, all of which must have a Florida address. But if they don’t have one of those, no worries! They can also provide alternative proof, like a recent mortgage statement, homeowner’s insurance policy, or even a current auto registration or insurance bill—just as long as it’s dated within the past two months and paired with a matching photo ID.
Unfortunately, if the adults in your party can’t provide proof of Florida residency, they won’t be eligible for Florida Resident ticket pricing. I know that’s not the practically perfect answer you were hoping for, but don’t lose your pixie dust just yet! I always recommend checking out the
Special Offers page on the
Walt Disney World website, where you might find other magical deals and discounts that work for your family. These offers change from time to time, so be sure to keep that bookmarked for future visits!
If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by again.
See you real soon,
Christina
