    Are you able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan using Disney Gift Cards?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly! I’m excited to see that you have an Autumn visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works! Thanks for sending in your question!

    I think of Disney Gift Cards as magical currency that you can use to pay for lots of expenses during your visit at the most magical place on earth. You can always use one or more Disney Gift Cards to play for things like Disney Resort hotel stays, meals and merchandise during your vacation!

    I suggest calling (407) 939-1936 to speak to a Resort Reservation Specialist about adding the balance of any cards you may have to the outstanding balance of your vacation. They will be happy to help you apply those magical dollars toward your stay.

    You can also use the gift cards as a credit on your Disney Resort hotel bill to cover any purchases you make using your MagicBand. Purchases made at your resort hotel or out and about during your adventures at the theme parks will end up on your final Disney Resort hotel bill at the end of your visit. 

    You have some great options to choose from when it comes to Disney Dining Plans, so I'm sure you will find one that fits your family's needs. When using the “Mobile Order” option on the My Disney Experience app on your phone, you should know that you will have the option to pay for quick service meals and snacks with your dining plan credits. It’s really easy!
