Welcome aboard, Roxanna! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the corner! It sounds like you've been doing some planning and are ready to set sail!
Many guests bring personalized pillow cases to be signed by their favorite Disney friends. It's a wonderful souvenir. My children have a few pillowcases that we've taken with us on earlier Disney cruises and had signed. They still use those on their pillows at night! The Guest Services desk onboard used to accept items to be signed and return those to guests at the end of the cruise. That is no longer the case. Instead, they encourage guests to keep their items with them so that they can meet the Disney characters in person to have the items signed. You'll be surprised at how many
Character Greeting opportunities there are onboard the ship. If you're used to longer lines at the Walt Disney World Resort parks, you'll also be happy to know that the lines are much shorter onboard the ship, which means you'll have more time to meet even more Disney friends!
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you arrive at port. Besides the paper copy of the Personal Navigator that you'll receive onboard each day, the app is so handy to keep with you so you can be up to date on the activities and events taking place around the ship. All of the Character Greeting times and locations will be listed there too!
So, grab your pillowcases, some colorful fabric markers, and a clipboard to slide inside the pillowcase to keep the markers from bleeding through, and to give the characters a hard surface on which to sign, and you'll be all ready to meet your favorite Disney friends onboard, Roxanna!
Have a magical cruise!
