These special welcome packages are sent to guests who’ve booked a Walt Disney World Vacation Package. This typically includes a stay at a
Disney Resort hotel, theme park tickets, and sometimes even flights. However, packages booked through a travel agent, booked within 10 days of arrival, or reserved as a Room-Only stay aren’t eligible to receive this packet. If you qualify, keep an eye on your mailbox because these magical packages usually ship about two weeks before your arrival. Don’t worry if the mail doesn’t bring you the surprise you were expecting! Upon arrival, you can visit the front desk at your Disney Resort hotel to pick up your luggage tags and Magical Extras if you did not receive them in the mail and are eligible.
Since this package arrives only two weeks before your vacation, I highly recommend getting most of your planning information from the
My Disney Experience app. Begin by downloading the My Disney Experience app and linking your reservations to your account. If your plans aren’t showing up, click "Add More Plans" and choose "Link Reservations". Here, you’ll see a space to enter your Disney Vacation Package confirmation number. Once everything is linked, you’ll see your theme park tickets, Resort hotel reservations, and all the other magical details of your package. I love having everything in one place and it is a bonus that it is completely digital so you can take your planning guide with you wherever you go!
