Hey there! Hi there, Stacey! It looks like it won't be long before your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Hot dog! You must be getting so excited!
I'm glad you came to planDisney with this question as you plan your days at
Walt Disney World Resort. Even if you are staying off-property, you can exit and re-enter a park with your
theme park ticket. The only caution is if the theme park is at capacity, you will not be guaranteed entry — a policy that applies to all Guests. To enter a theme park, you will scan your
MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or physical card to access your ticket and then place a finger on the scanner to create a fingerprint for your ticket. To re-enter, you follow the same process.
Hakuna Matata! The same is true for
parking at the theme parks: you can leave and come back without having to pay a second time. Just keep your receipt and show it to the Cast Member at the parking entrance when you get back. It will also work if you have the
Park Hopper option and head to a different theme park lot. You do not need to pay for parking twice on the same day. I stash the receipt in my car so I can easily grab it when needed.
Did you know the
My Disney Experience app has a car locator? After having to use my car alarm to find mine (more than) once, I have learned the value of this tool. When you park, go to the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen), scroll to "Getting Around" and open the "Car Locator." It will
automagically detect your location, or you can enter it manually. When you head back to your car, it will remind you of the parking lot name and row to help you find your car easily.
Stacey, if you have any other questions for this or a future trip to your favorite Disney destination, know you always have a friend in
planDisney!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
