Am I able to know in advance when pirate night is and my dining rotation for my 5 night Disney Dream cruise? l want to book an adult only dinner, but want to be able to dine at all 3 rotational restaurants as well as attend pirate night.

    Welcome aboard, Telmyr!

So great to see a fellow Virginian in our planDisney cruise crew! There’s nothing quite like a Disney Cruise Line vacation and I’m excited for your family to experience this incredible escape aboard the beautiful Disney Dream.

I see your sail date is March 31, 2024 – this appears to be a 5-Night Western Caribbean cruise sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While we can research your exact dining rotations, I’m afraid that it's too far in advance to know those details just yet. Please write us back in a few months as the schedules are planned further out, Telmyr. You may send another question to planDisney as you did to submit this one or ask me directly by clicking “Get an answer from this panelist” on my biography page and we can continue our conversation together. Of course, you may write to us any time before then if you have any other questions to help you make the most of this special vacation.

As a fellow planner, I really appreciate you wanting to think through your dining rotation to maximize your cruise experience! Prioritizing all three main dining rooms as well as enjoying Pirate Night and an adult-exclusive dinner sounds like a practically perfect approach! Please see this answer I recently shared with a guest with the full details on how to submit a special request like yours. You may call Disney Cruise Line to put in this request, and my guidance should help you have the best chance of getting your wish. These dining requests are addressed in the order received, so if your sailing is in 2024 I encourage you to submit it now to be one jump ahead of the crowds.

The departure port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (also known as “Port Everglades”) will be brand new to Disney Cruise Line near the end of this year, 2023! It should be an easy port to get to from Virginia and with beautiful destinations on this Western Caribbean itinerary it’s sure to be very special. Ground transportation will be offered to Fort Lauderdale airport (code FLL) through Disney Cruise Line, if that would help make travel logistics easier for you. You may add this to your reservation in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or website, or by calling Disney Cruise Line. (You could add this in the same phone conversation as your special dining request.)

You have me dreaming of sunny skies and palm trees, Telmyr! While your cruise is still on the horizon, be sure to research Port Adventures for your destinations as you continue to look towards this adventure next year.

Hope to “sea” you again among our planDisney cruise crew!
