    Are you able to go to California Grill Bar for dessert?

    Hi Rachel!

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney to learn more about the offering at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. My last visit was for my birthday; watching the fireworks from the Resort hotel’s rooftop with my loved one is now a core memory for me. What’s even better? The desserts and appetizers that accompanied our meal. 

    The good news: You can absolutely order desserts (and other menu items) from the California Grill Lounge. You will not need a reservation to experience this area as it is first-come, first-served. However, if you’d like the entire 3-course meal, you’ll need an advance dining reservation at the main section of this 15th-floor restaurant. 

    California Grill is hands down one of my favorite restaurants on property. It has all of the glitz and glam that is perfect for a luxe night out, but also has the nostalgic and historical quality that only 100 years of Disney magic can bring.
