Are you able to give a rough estimate of how soon after making magic band+ selections as part of my package booking they are shipped out?

    Hiya Amy!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for coming by with your question!

I love using my MagicBand+ when in the Parks. I am a big fan of cute accessories that also function very well. I love the convenience of using it for purchases, room entry, and tapping into the Parks! The ability to pre-order them and have them arrive before my trip is one of the best pre-vacation moments ever!

All MagicBand+ orders must be submitted 11 or more days before you arrive so that there is enough time to get them to your home. The shipping time does vary but check your email as you should get it soon from "shop@disneyparks.com" with the fun subject line, "Your MagicBands are on the way!" There will be a tracking link provided so you can get more details but I had luck always getting it within 10 days from when I ordered them. Since you are arriving this September there is plenty of time for it to arrive if you order it soon.

Your bands will come needing a charge but are already linked to your account. You won't have to do anything else except to remember to bring them with you! Don't forget to bring the included charging wire which connects to a USB port and then the band. Every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel I have visited has USB charging ports in the room but I suggest bringing a base from home in case your room does not or if you run out of ports. Also, these bands can fall off at the worst times. My family has lost bands at the bottom of the Seven Seas Lagoon (those poor fishies), on rides, and in the Parks. It happens quite a bit when you have to take a backpack on and off and the strap catches on the band. I highly suggest using a rubber band or silicone watch loop to help secure it. I also do "band checks" during the day to remind everyone to check that their band is secured tightly. These bands come in limited designs and losing one you love is so sad.

I hope this helps and you have a fabulous time!

    Happy planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
