Are you able to use extra magic hours on day of check out?

    Hi Stephanie,

You're going to LOVE staying right in the middle of the magic at a Disney Resort hotel! It will be the perfect place to relax and unwind after enjoying the theme parks, AND your stay comes complete with lots of fantastic perks!

One of those great perks is access to Extra Magic Hours. My family loves taking advantage of smaller crowds for one hour before the park opens or two hours after it closes to experience some of our favorite attractions with shorter wait times. I'm happy to let you know that since you're considered a Guest of your Disney Resort hotel for the entire day of both your check-in and check-out, you may enjoy the pools, activities, and benefits all day long, including Extra Magic Hours! Hitting up the Extra Magic Hours on the day of your check-out is the perfect way to squeeze out every possible bit of magic and fun before it's time to head back home.

If you'll be using the Disney Dining Plan during your stay, all of your snack credits and dining entitlements will be good through 11:59 p.m. on the day of your check-out, too. If you happen to have extra snack credits remaining, be sure to look for some of the Disney Dining Plan eligible snack credits that are available in multiple retail stores. There are some great Goofy's Candy Co. snacks or my very favorite to-go snack, the Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy Treat, that make perfect souvenirs!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
