Being able to use DVC points, I'm torn between Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Tower for my family of 6? Twins age 2 and sons age 7 & 14. I'm torn about ease of travel vs "look mommy elephants!" Thank you!

    Hi Stephanie!

First, thank you for making me laugh out loud this morning! Let's get down to business.

My recommendation is for your family to enjoy a vacation at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. When we are on vacation, convenience is key! Since we also travel with a double stroller, as I am guessing your family will, the convenience of that quick walk to Magic Kingdom park simply cannot be overstated. This is particularly important in the late afternoon when being able to dash "home" for a nap, a quick dip in the pool or even a visit to the calming Community Hall is what everyone needs to regroup before an exciting night out.

I also want to point out that if your Villa has a Theme Park View or is otherwise located in the "North Tower," the section of the building that is reached by turning left from the check-in desk rather than right, and is even-numbered, you will find a very different kind of balcony entertainment. I think that watching Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from your private balcony with the music playing from your TV is really an unbeatable experience. If your Villa has an odd number, then enjoy the nightly Electrical Water Pageant instead. Either way, there is magic just beyond your sliding glass door at this DVC Resort as well.

I hope that is helpful, Stephanie. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
