In most cases, there’s no need to worry about changing the name on a
standard Disneyland Resort theme park ticket. A ticket officially becomes linked to a specific person the first time it’s scanned at the entrance to
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. At that point, a photo is taken and associated with the ticket, and that image is what connects it to the Guest using it for the remainder of the visit.
That said, it’s completely understandable if you’d prefer to have the ticket details updated. The Guest who originally purchased the tickets can reach out to Disneyland Ticket Services for assistance. This can be done by
calling directly or by using the chat feature in the
Disneyland app, where a friendly Cast Member can review the situation and let you know what options are available.
Felipe, I highly recommend taking full advantage of the Disneyland app during your visit. It’s an incredibly helpful companion throughout the day. You can store your tickets digitally, check current attraction wait times, browse show schedules, and place mobile food orders to save time. The “Entertainment” section is especially useful for keeping track of parades, live performances, and nighttime spectaculars so you don’t miss a moment of the fun.
Another favorite feature is the “Characters” tab, which shows where Disney characters are greeting Guests each day. Here’s a little Q-Tip:
Main Street, U.S.A. is often a great place to find classic favorites like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, especially earlier in the day. It’s a cheerful way to kick off your time in Disneyland.
