Hi there, Maria Gabriela,
Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question. I was so excited to hear about the pre-planning capabilities that
Lightning Lane Passes now offer guests, and I know many guests are eager to get the planning started for their next visit.
At this time, Lightning Lane Passes can be purchased using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App 7 days in advance of check-in for guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and 3 days before ticket start day for off-property guests. You must be on US soil to access these features within the app. I recently answered a
similar question from a European guest that gives a little more insight into the booking process and offers some suggestions for making the most of your visit.
As a US resident, I was curious how the website and app features might look for international visitors so I was sure to test things out on my spring visit to Paris and London. Though my phone has a US number and the app was already downloaded, the features and functionality differed overseas compared to what I typically saw from my home in North Carolina. If you'll be traveling internationally during your booking window you'll notice the same. Once you arrive in the US the full functionality should be available.
Maria Gabriela, I hope you'll be able to purchase and plan attractions for your September visit, but plenty of magic awaits in the standby line, too! My family loves exploring all the clever details tucked around the queues that guests miss when using Lightning Lane entrances. We also enjoy using the
Play Disney Parks App for games and trivia themed to our specific location in the parks. During our last visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios, we had so much fun playing these interactive games that our wait time for
Toy Story Mania! passed quicker than you could shout "Andy's coming!"
I hope this was helpful! If we can answer more questions as you prepare for your visit please come right back to let us know. You've always got a friend at planDisney!
Magic and memories,
Amy
