Hi Jarell,
Welcome aboard planDisney! We are glad you sailed by with your question. You and your family must be counting down the days until your
Disney Cruise Line vacation!
I completely understand your concern about having a selective eater. Sometimes with so much excitement going on, it may be even more challenging to encourage your little one to eat. No worries, you may bring snack/supplement items (such as PediaSure) onboard, but there are a few things to keep in mind. If you are bringing liquid PediaSure, you must
pack sealed and unopened containers in their original packaging in your carry-on bag. Items such as protein or snack powders may be brought onboard; however, they must also be in original, sealed packaging.
There isn’t a limit to the number of carry-on bags you may bring on board, but
each bag may be no larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep so they can fit through the security scanner. You should plan to carry this bag with you from the time you board until your stateroom is ready. I often bring a small bag on wheels if I’m bringing heavier items in my carry-on.
Jarell, keep in mind that open bags or containers of snack items may not be taken off the ship or brought back onboard. Guests must either consume or throw away open snack food items before re-boarding the ship in any port of call.
There are
so many magical activities for your little one to explore onboard and Disney Cruise Line makes it
easy to travel with children. I love to share the
My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet with families to help you prepare for your vacation. If you have other questions or need tips for making the most of your vacation, please let us know!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
