Hi Bianca,
We are a Dyson Air Wrap household as well! I love that device and it is worth every penny for how wonderful your hair looks afterwards. I recently cruised and took a less powerful device because I was worried after hearing conflicting reports about whether or not you can bring it. I did not want to risk having it taken up and stored during my cruise and not having a device to do my hair with.
Disney Cruise Line provides a
list of prohibited items for you to peruse before your cruise and make sure that you feel comfortable with all of the items you are packing. It states that hairdryers must be below 450 watts to bring onboard. Since the Dyson Airwrap comes in much higher than that at 1300 watts, I made the choice not to bring mine. Some people have reported bringing it successfully onboard but it did not end up working because the outlets can not handle the power of this device. To be safe and make sure you have an excellent styling tool I would not recommend bringing this Dyson and would opt for a lower-powered device that works for your hair type. I ordered a SpinStyler and took it with me because it is much less expensive and works quickly for those quick turns between an adventurous port day and a nice dinner.
If you want to have a blowout, you can book an appointment at the
Senses Salon and Spa during your trip and then you won't even have to worry about doing your hair. They also have fabulous manicures and pedicures for a special treat.
Don't forget to check out the
packing list for your Disney Cruise so you make sure that you have everything you will need on your fabulous vacation!
Happy Styling
Jenna
