Are you still able to bring a case of water aboard your cruise as long as it is factory sealed?

Ahoy there, Jeff! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Yippee! Your countdown is in the single digits! I’m sure you’re eager to bid farewell to work and school and kick off your vacation. I totally understand! I'm thrilled for you to step aboard the Disney Wish and embark on your enchanting getaway. It sounds like you’re busy packing for your vacation, so let’s dive in!

Hydration is important, especially in warmer climates. You’re welcome to bring a case of water in your carry-on luggage. Disney recommends that your day bag not exceed 9" x 14" x 22" to pass easily through the security scanners.

Just remember that water is heavy, and your stateroom might not be available when you board. I recommend bringing a reusable water bottle instead. Filtered water is available on Deck 11 at the complimentary beverage stations. There are disposable paper cups you can use to grab a drink as you walk by or use a cup to refill your personal bottle.

Having a few water bottles on hand for Port Adventures is convenient. Keep an eye out on the first day for Crew Members circulating the pool deck with insulated coolers filled with water bottles available for purchase. The cooler is so handy when you’re exploring off the ship. I also saw the coolers at Lookout Bar on Deck 11, Wheezie’s Freezies on Deck 12, and Currents on Deck 14.

Smooth seas and fair winds for the rest of your planning, Jeff. If you have any more questions before you arrive at the port, feel free to drop anchor and ask. We are more than happy to lend a hand!

    SEAS the adventure!

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
