I’m happy to report that…yes! You can purchase
Lightning Lane Single Passes for only part of your travel party (pending availability). As you go through the prompts to purchase your Lightning Lanes, you will come to a section where you will choose who you’re purchasing the pass for. Just make sure to click only those who want the Lightning Lane Single Pass during that step and not your whole travel party.
It’s good to note that if your whole party wants Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but only a couple of people want Lightning Lane Single Pass for the same park day, you’ll need to book and purchase these services in two separate transactions.
For example, when we went to Epcot a few months ago, my whole family of 5 used Lightning Lane Multi Pass, but only 3 of us wanted a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
Guardians of the Galaxy. I booked and purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass for my whole family first. Then I went back to purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass for the 3 of us in a separate transaction.
Before your Lightning Lane booking window opens, make sure you’re linked to your whole travel party via the
Family & Friends List. That way, you won’t have any trouble choosing Lightning Lane services for members of your party.
Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
