We were able to book a room at Beach Club Resort that sleeps 6 people...deluxe rooms. We haven't seen this option in the past. Is this something new? What can you tell me about these rooms?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jodi! You’re in for a real treat during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort has just undergone an amazing renovation! Not only will you be able to enjoy the always fun and beautiful Stormalong Bay, you will notice some welcome improvements to the interior of the resort, especially in your guest room!

Jodi, the Deluxe rooms are a recent new addition to this resort. You can find them in the Club level areas with either a club level or standard view (which will be slightly smaller than the latter). They will allow for more room with three queen sized beds (one of those a pull-out couch) and a beautifully renovated and spacious bathroom! A few of the Club level amenities that you can enjoy are, complimentary health club access, refreshments served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and access to concierge service at the Stone Harbor Club, just to name a few. These Deluxe type rooms can also be found at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort.

One of the main draws of this beautiful resort is its close proximity to the World Showcase at Epcot! Cape May Café is also a nice touch. My family has really enjoyed having breakfast with the characters there over the years.

Jodi, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue planning your magical vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop by and see us again! Helping you figure out all the details of your special time at the Walt Disney World Resort is our favorite thing to do!
