When will we be able to book reservations for the new Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Fantasyland expansion?. We are coming Dec9-Dec16 and I have heard it will be open by then.

    Hi Jaime,

I'll be visiting Walt Disney World in December and am also eagerly awaiting news of the new Be Our Guest dining situation.

The exact date that reservations will become available has not yet been announced. We've heard that this will happen in mid to late August, but don't have any more news than that. I'm expecting that we'll hear more via an announcement in the Disney Parks Blog during the next week or two, but we really don't know for sure.

As for the restaurant's opening date, the official word is that it will be open for "holiday 2012." Again, we don't know exactly what this means, but I'd personally feel safe in assuming that it will be open during your travel dates.

    Fingers crossed!
