When will I be able to book a May 2026 Disneyland resort stay/package? Also, will the 70th anniversary still be going on then?

    Hiya Melanie!

Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy that you're here, planning your vacation to Disneyland. Something about having a magical countdown in the works just helps me sleep better at night. Having that sparkle of pixie-dust in your future... and the promise of making amazing memories to look forward to, just seems to make everything in life a little better.

So let's talk about when you can book your reservation, and make that 2026 Disneyland countdown official!

I've got some exciting news. Historically, Disneyland vacation packages are made available around August of the preceding year. So those 2026 Disneyland reservation dates may be released any day now. And even better news: the fabulous Disneyland 70th Celebration will still be taking place when you visit in May! There are so many unique, extra offerings like special decor, merchandise, and festive food and drinks being featured as part of Disneyland's 70th Anniversary. It looks incredible, and I'm so happy you'll get to experience it!

Melanie, there are two places to keep an eye out for when those 2026 reservations open up. First, I like to use the "Build Your Vacation" tool at the top of the Disneyland website's main page. As soon as you see those 2026 vacation dates enabled on the calendar drop downs... you can book your trip! Another great option to stay in the loop is to watch the Disney Parks Blog. They will be sure to post an article letting guests know when 2026 Disneyland vacation packages are available. And maybe you'll even pick up a few "must do" planning ideas of what you'd like to see, do, and eat during your vacation!

I'll be sending pixie dust your way, and hoping you have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth! I hope this helps, and please feel free to send any other questions you may have to planDisney.

    Off to Neverland!
