Am I able to book dinner at blue bayou for Thursday with the sweetheart nite dinner package for non nighttime passholders before the park closes before the event?

    Hi Kyle,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It's always a good idea to check out the Disneyland Hours and Events calendar to see if there is anything that might impact your Disneyland trip. This year Sweethearts’ Nite is happening on January 21, 23, 28 and  February 4, 6, 9, 11, and 13. On these days, the park closes early for regular guests at 8:00 pm. Guests who do not have a ticket to Sweethearts’ Nite will be ushered out of the park so that the special event can start at 9:00 pm.

There is a special Sweethearts’ Nite Dining package available if you would like to share a Table Service dinner with your party. These dinner packages take reservations starting at 8:00 pm. These packages are available at Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, Plaza Inn, River Belle Terrace, Cafe Orleans, and Oga’s Cantina. If you do not have a ticket to the Sweethearts’ Nite event, you will be unable to make or use the reservation. If you are interested in dining at the Blue Bayou during the nights listed above, you will need to make a reservation before 8:00 pm.

Check out the dining reservations to see if there are any available times for dining that align with your trip date. If you don’t see any dining options, when you arrive at the park, check in at the restaurant to see if you can make a same day reservation. This is not a guarantee, but it is worth a shot.

I hope this was helpful information, Kyle. A princess once told me that dreams do come true in New Orleans, so I hope your New Orleans Square dreams come true and you can nab a reservation at the Blue Bayou. If you have any other questions or need help planning a trip, please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist, and we would be happy to share our thoughts.

    Best of luck!
