Would I be able to add a person after booking my trip?

You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Cailyn!

Thanks for stopping by with your question.

Cailyn, I have been through this plenty of times myself: I book a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and one of my family members decide they want to come along! And who can blame them? It is The Most Magical Place on Earth, after all! Nothing beats going to my favorite place in the world with people I adore.

I’m happy to tell you that you should be able to modify your vacation in order to add on an additional Guest whether it is a room-only or a package reservation. You would only need to be in a room type that can accommodate that additional Guest. And right now, you can book your reservation with confidence! To provide flexibility, any Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees will be waived up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through April 30, 2021!

I would definitely encourage you to add your Guest onto your reservation as soon as you find out they’re coming because you will want to also add them to your Advance Dining Reservations and make sure they also snag all the Disney Park Pass reservations for the same Theme Parks on the dates you are going. Here is a helpful Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar for you to check if your dates are still available.

Cailyn, I hope you all have the most enchanting time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
