Welcome to planDisney, Justine!
I am also a huge fan of using Disney Gift Cards for purchases while spending time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I like to pick a few up here and there and then use them as sort of a "savings plan" for my vacation.
Although Disney Gift Cards are unable to be saved as a stored payment method in your
My Disney Experience account, you can still use a Disney Gift Card for purchases made through the app for things like
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. You'll just need to enter the numbers from your gift card on the checkout screen. What I do is store the numbers from my Disney Gift Cards in a note on my phone, and then copy and paste the information rather than typing the numbers in each time.
If you would like to add a credit or debit card as a stored payment method to your account, you can do this in the
My Disney Experience app by using the menu button in the lower right corner to find "My Profile", then scroll down to "Payment Method" and select the pencil icon to add or edit your cards. Up to six credit or debit cards can be saved to your account.
Did you know, you can manage multiple Disney Gift Cards at
disneygiftcard.com? You'll be able to transfer balances from one card to another and also see the transaction history of your cards.
I hope that helps! Please stop by and see us again if you have any additional questions. Have a wonderful visit during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
