About Me
About My Family
Our two girls - both older teens - have been game for any Disney adventure since their first Walt Disney World Resort vacation as little ones. Nowadays, they take an active role in planning our travels and have very strong opinions! While I sometimes miss the peak princess years, it's truly magical to experience Disney destinations with our 'Ohana at every stage. Our oldest is a thrill-seeker who heads straight to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest, while her stage-ready sister will always make time to catch a parade or show during her Disney day. We all agree that no Walt Disney World vacation is complete without a No Way Jose at Beaches and Cream, a round of miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens, and a spin on Mad Tea Party!
About My Disney Experience
One of my earliest memories is of sitting on the beach at the Polynesian Village Resort, watching the Electrical Water Pageant with my parents and grandparents. Since that first trip at the age of 3, I visited Walt Disney World again as a child and a teenager and discovered something new every time to enchant me. When I became a mom, I looked forward to the time when I could introduce our girls to the magic, too.
Our oldest daughter fell in love with Beauty and the Beast as a preschooler, and I immediately began planning our first family trip, complete with a color-coded spreadsheet to help keep us organized. We kept our plans simple to account for naps and nursing and had a princess-tastic experience that I still describe as magical. From then on, we have visited at least once a year--each trip is different as the girls' interests change and expand. Our Disney vacations now include an annual action-packed trip to cheer on their high school varsity dance team at their national championships!
Joining Disney Vacation Club was a logical step for our family, and it's a decision we've never regretted. In a full-circle Disney moment for me, we were able to choose the Polynesian as our home resort! Since our first trip as members to Aulani in Hawaii, we've sailed on Disney Cruise Line and enjoyed amazing vacations with family and friends in many different Disney destinations. Becoming part of the planDisney panel is a dream come true, and I'm so excited to help others make their own magical memories.
