About Me

I originally hail from the Garden State of New Jersey, but have called North Carolina home since 2013. I was an English teacher and school librarian before I transitioned to my current role at a college library, and now I help prepare students who are studying to be teachers, school counselors, and administrators for their careers in education! In my spare time, you can find me chasing my personal best on my exercise bike, rearranging my Disney pin collection, playing games out in the yard with my family, or voraciously reading a nonfiction book.

About My Family

My wife loves Disney as much as I do, and our kids aren’t too far behind in their fandom! My daughter is a budding pin collector and my son gets so excited any time he sees Mickey Mouse. Walt Disney World has always been part of our family story, from our honeymoon trip in 2017 to traveling with my childhood friends and their children in 2025 and many other celebrations in between. The magic of Disney storytelling unites our family, whether we’re traversing the parks and resorts at Disney destinations or cozying up on the couch at home to watch our favorite shows and movies on Disney+.

About My Disney Experience

I have always been a fan of Disney music, movies, and shows, but I had only visited Walt Disney World twice before I met my wife in 2014. We started taking annual trips and I was hooked! We became Disney Vacation Club members in 2023, and I have enjoyed my experiences at Disney destinations both new and familiar. Traveling to Walt Disney World is all about core memories: our honeymoon trip as newlyweds, a family wedding in the Germany pavilion at EPCOT, and seeing Fantasmic! with my kids for the first time. These are cherished memories in our family story, and I’m always eagerly mapping out the next chapter by planning another visit to Walt Disney World!
