About Me
Hiya pals, I’m Ryan J. from Ohio! By day (and night, and weekends) I'm a professor of management where I get to mentor the next generation of leaders, and research work-life balance and healthy organizations, like The Walt Disney Company! In my free time, when I’m not at Walt Disney World Resort, you can find me running or biking through the Appalachian foothills and devouring ice cream, craft beer, and all of the foods! I love the innovative magic Disney spreads across the globe, and I can’t wait to help others plan unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
About My Family
My parents shared the Disney magic with me as a little one and my extended Disney family has been growing ever since! Now, my partner and I have so many new friends from our time in the theme parks, runDisney events, and Disney Cruise Line cruises. At home in Ohio, when we’re not hiking, biking, or running with our two dogs, we love traveling and eating our way through the world. Sometimes that means a trip to Europe, but usually it means a trip to EPCOT. While I don’t have any kids of my own, our Walt Disney World Resort vacations have always included all ages. I can’t wait to help you plan your chosen family’s magical moments too!
About My Disney Experience
My first trip to Walt Disney World Resort as a 5-year old almost didn’t involve any theme parks - I was so enamored with Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and naively thought that our resort was “Disney World!” My parents regretted already buying park tickets and I had to be carted off to the parks kicking and screaming. That day was my first time visiting EPCOT, and my first time on Living with the Land, my all-time favorite ride! After that first trip, my Mom and I would get to tag along and play in the parks when my Dad would have conventions nearby in Orlando. Then, when it came time for graduate school, I happened to decide on a school in Florida and have been an Annual Passholder ever since! These days our vacations are mostly adult trips, but I’ve planned it all - from a quick last minute weekend to planning months in advance for multiple multi-generational families. Walt Disney World Resort holds such a magical place in my heart that I also recently became a Disney Vacation Club member - now I can truly call Disney's Riviera Resort “home!” I love having unique Disney experiences and there’s nothing quite as rewarding as helping others experience all the magic by sprinkling some planDisney pixie dust!
