About Me

I was born and raised in Texas, and as they say, everything is bigger in Texas, including my love for all things Disney.  I’ve been a lifelong martial artist, which led me to leave my corporate life and pursue owning and operating my own martial arts academies. I’ve attended all of the Disney Institute courses, where I learned how to create the Disney Magic in my own businesses. When I’m not kicking and punching, I’m dreaming of my family's next trip to a Disney park.  Our goal is to visit all 12 of the parks worldwide, 8 down and 4 to go.

About My Family

My wife and I have been married since ‘08. She is my “Cinderella” and “Mary Poppins” to our kids; she’s practically perfect in every way. She is always up for a Disney trip and recently started participating in runDisney races. Our teenage son is the thrill seeker of the family and would be happy to ride Guardians of the Galaxy all day long if he could.  Our daughter loves all things Disney and can be found looking for the latest YouTube videos with new Disney World secrets.  Our Animal Kingdom consists of 3 German shepherds, 2 axolotls, and a chinchilla.

About My Disney Experience

My Disney experience began as a teenager, when our family stopped at Walt Disney World on the way home from a summer trip to South Florida.  It wasn’t until ten years later that my wife and I took our first vacation together to visit Mickey and his pals.  We looked forward to the day when we would have our own kids to take to the parks and enjoy.  We were ecstatic when that day finally arrived, and we were able to take our son and daughter for their first trip to Walt Disney World.  Seeing them enter the Magic Kingdom and meeting Mickey and Minnie for the first time is a memory we will cherish for a lifetime.  We knew then that we would be a Disney family for life.  Along with visiting a couple of times a year, we became DVC members and decided we eventually needed to see all the Disney parks around the world. We’ve visited Disneyland in California and recently visited Disneyland Paris.  Our next park on the list is Disneyland Tokyo in the near future.
