About Me

Hello there! I'm Lizzie, a high school history teacher, cheerleading coach, and proud dog mom from small-town Georgia. When I'm not in mouse (or Pluto) ears planning my next magical character hug, you'll most likely find me with a book in hand, tackling a DIY home renovation project with my husband, or on a long run with one of my pups. I was captivated by the magic of Disney as child, but it wasn't until my twenties that pixie dust became a defining characteristic of my personality - and a staple of my wardrobe. A proud 'Disney Adult', I will never pass up the opportunity to ride in the tail of Slinky Dog Dash, check in with my favorite duo of rascally chipmunks, laugh at a cringe-worthy pun on the World-Famous Jungle Cruise, or cry happy tears during Fantasmic!

About My Family

My husband and I began our very own happily every after ten years ago with a savanna-view honeymoon at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Since then, we have added three rescue pups to our family...but I would happily take 98 more! When my husband and I aren't snacking our way around an EPCOT festival, being ridiculously competitive with one another on Toy Story Mania, or on the lookout for giraffes on Kilimanjaro Safaris, we're probably cheering on our favorite sports teams, snuggling with our dogs, or traveling the world hand in hand. 

About My Disney Experience

I was in 4th grade when my parents surprised my sister and I with our first family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and I can still hear the excitement in their voices as they shared the news with us. Although my adolescent visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth were infrequent, they produced some of the childhood memories I hold most dear. I will never forget the joy of purchasing a plush Donald Duck after my very first hug with him or the way my late father would laugh with childlike glee on Space Mountain. When my husband and I decided to celebrate our honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort as a 'once-in-a-lifetime child-free Disney vacation' we had no idea it would become a trip we haven taken no less than fifteen times over the past decade celebrating a variety of life's milestones: birthdays, jobs, anniversaries, and marathon finish lines. Whether you visit with friends or with family, for a week or a weekend, to splurge or to save, I can't wait to help you make your own magical memories to cherish for a lifetime!
