About Me

Hello! I’m Kurt a retired broadcaster from Michigan! My career took us to Utah, North Carolina, Montana and St. Thomas in the USVI! I’ve been a play-by-play sportscaster, a radio station manager and a television quiz show host!  If you’re planning to Wish Upon a Star with your grandkids or jump on a magic carpet ride with a loved one, I’m here to Welcome You Home!

About My Family

My wife Lisa and I have three Disney crazy adult daughters and four young grandsons who help us celebrate birthdays with Disney themes! Our first trip with our daughters we surprised them by picking them up at their elementary school and whisked them off to their first ever magical trip to the Polynesian Resort! I have a daughter who continues to add to her runDisney medal collection, one who always begs us to stop at the spring roll cart in Magic Kingdom and another who lives in Japan and was the perfect tour guide on our visit to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea! My grandsons love Toy Story, Star Wars, Winnie the Pooh, and were transformed into handsome princes at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on our last family trip!  We are always in planning mode for our next magical adventure!

About My Disney Experience

My first trip to Walt Disney World was in 1972.  My most memorable one was in 1991 when my wife Lisa and I got married on a hot air balloon in Orlando and Honeymooned on The Big Red Boat! My Circle of Life was complete with three daughters, four grandsons, and a Disney Vacation Club membership!
We are DVC members at the Copper Creek Villas and The Polynesian Villas and have stayed at all of the DVC resorts at Walt Disney World.  We spend most of our wedding anniversaries sharing a No Way Jose at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop!
I have been known to hop a late boat to Magic Kingdom on my own and show up in a PhotoPass racing down Space Mountain multiple times to cap off a magical night at my favorite park!
