About Me
Ahoy Disney friends! I am JoVonn from Fort Valley, Georgia. I enjoy taking magical and multigenerational trips. I have many core memories of Funnel Vision by the pool, brunch at the restaurant Palo Steakhouse, and seeing fireworks at sea during Pirate Night. When I am not cruising, I work as a public health professional in Atlanta, Georgia and like to read, make papercrafts, and bake. As Moana says, "There's a whole ocean!", and I am here to help you plan to explore it on Disney Cruise Line.
About My Family
I am the proud mom of a preteen that I have been taking on Disney adventures since he was one year old. It has been important to me to make sure that he has and appreciates experiences the world has to offer. While he loves going to the preteen club Edge and the basketball court aboard the ship, you can find my sister and I, who rounds out my pirate crew, in Cove Café sipping coffee. We love planning Disney Cruise Line vacations together, discussing ports of calls we want to explore, and trying to find something new to experience each itinerary. I'm looking forward to introducing my mother to Disney Cruise Line in 2024!
About My Disney Experience
Vacations at the Walt Disney World Resort were part of my childhood and continue to be part of my adulthood. Over the past ten years, I have been fortunate to experience all five Disney Cruise Line ships and am now a Gold Castaway Club member. One of my favorite memories is on my son's fourth birthday trip aboard the Disney Dream. My son wanted to ride the AquaDuck but we were not sure he was tall enough. The lifeguard measured him, and he met the heigh requirement. He kept saying, "I'm big enough! I'm big enough!". While I love my Disney Parks adventures, I have fallen in love with Disney Cruise Line and the voyages it has to offer.
