Hi friends, I'm Clara! I am a pediatrician residing in Cincinnati, OH. In my daily work, I take care of newborn babies and have the pleasure and privilege of celebrating birthdays every day! From a very young age, I have been a fan of everything Disney, and due to the powers of persuasion and a bit of pixie dust, I am blessed to be the mother of two amazing little Disney-loving boys. I was born in Spain and moved to the United States with my parents at 7 years of age. I am bilingual and am very happy to answer your questions in English and Spanish. One of my happiest early memories as a child new to the United States is my family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Far from the only country and life I had ever known, the Magic Kingdom gave me a sense of finally being home, and I hope it does the same for you! I want nothing more than those around me to feel that kind of magic in their lives, and I am so thrilled to hopefully play a little part in this for you!
About My Family
I am married to a wonderful man who is a research scientist, and works just as hard to cure diseases as he does to keep our family running smoothly. We call him the “finder of things” and there’s nothing he cannot do when he puts his mind to it. When it comes to planning our Disney adventures, however, he hands the reins to me and comes along for the ride because he knows how much joy it brings our family. I am the mother of two busy little Disney-loving boys. My oldest loves getting his fix of thrill rides, and my youngest loves to slow things down with classic favorites. They have been fortunate enough to experience Walt Disney World from the time they were babies, so their love of the magic runs deep, which in turn works well for me! We love sharing stories and memories of our times together at Walt Disney World, and we can frequently be found daydreaming about our future vacation plans, often while blasting our favorite Disney tunes!
About My Disney Experience
As a young girl and only child new to the US, my parents looked for ways to establish family traditions and to help me find a sense of belonging in a strange new world. We found this from our first visit to Walt Disney World, and have never looked back. The love of Disney is a tradition that I hope will continue in my family for generations to come! One of my favorite memories is of one recent trip I took with my boys and their “abuela.” We told my boys about the trip just minutes before we left for the airport, via a letter from Mickey Mouse! They were utterly speechless, and off we went on a wonderful adventure! In a life that is often bursting at the seams with deadlines and busy schedules, our Disney time is something precious that we look forward to and take with us always.
