About Me
I am mom to 2 amazing kids. Even though they are out of high school and on their own, they still keep me busy! I am always moving them into new dorms or apartments, and they keep me guessing where their next move might be. For fun, I enjoy crafting, reading, and planning our next Disney adventure!
Having this opportunity to be a panelist for planDisney is a dream come true. I have so many wonderful memories of our dozens of Disney vacations, and the idea that I can help other families create memories of their own is truly magical!
I never got the chance to be in the Mickey Mouse Club (when I was a child, I REALLY thought I would be able to do that!) However, I think having the opportunity to be a "Disney Mom" surpasses even my craziest Mouseketeer dreams!
About My Family
My husband, Mark, and I are from Cleveland, Ohio and are John Carroll University graduates. Now that we are practically empty nesters, we have more flexibility to do last minute trips to Walt Disney World or wherever we might set out to explore. We are lucky that our son and daughter still enjoy traveling with us - they take every opportunity to squeeze time in with us if we are heading to visit Mickey!
Our kids truly grew up "Disney" going to Walt Disney World before their first birthdays. Seeing the parks through their eyes has given us such joy over the years. Our honeymoon, family birthday parties, first steps, high school graduation photo shoots … we have experienced it all at Walt Disney World. We even celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Vow Renewal on the Disney Dream. Now that is a "Dream" come true!
About My Disney Experience
Taking a Disney vacation usually means a visit to Walt Disney World where I have stayed at almost every Resort Hotel on property. While in Walt Disney World I enjoy trying all of the wonderful Disney restaurants from quick service to fine dining. I am a huge fan of the holidays, so I look forward to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party each year. I enjoy the festive holiday treats and cannot resist a cute popcorn bucket to add to my collection!
My love of magical vacations extends to the Disneyland Resort in California, the beautiful Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii, and Captain Mickey has welcomed me aboard many of the Disney Cruise Line ships with sailings to Alaska, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and even up to Canada.
I have been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for as long as I can remember and enjoy using the benefits from it, making it much easier for frequent visits to my true "home away from home." While some of my trips are planned well in advance, I have also been known to hop on a plane at a moment's notice for trip to visit Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals!
