About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois, but I much prefer the warmth and sunshine of living in southern California. I spend most days in my home office with a Disney mug of coffee working as a nonprofit cofounder that partners with artisans in Uganda to provide sustainable income. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at a local brewery or homebrewing in the backyard with my husband. I love traveling around the world and documenting my trips in photos. Adventure is out there!

About My Family

Once upon a time, I fell in love with a boy in high school and I’ve been following him all over the country since. While military life has its ups and downs, we cannot complain that the Navy has let us call San Diego home now for the second time. Plus, that means more frequent trips to Disneyland Resort! We have three spirited, independent kiddos (elementary, junior high, and high school ages) and a goldendoodle who loves to give warm hugs when he greets you. If you see us in the parks, we probably are crossing off a snack on our must-eat list, including any new vegan options for our oldest.

About My Disney Experience

Growing up, you could find me in front of the TV wearing out one of the many volumes of Disney Sing Along Songs on VHS. A Disney vacation was always a dream, and it finally came true in my early 20’s when my mom earned a family trip to Walt Disney World through work. Shortly after that trip the military moved us to southern California, which meant we got to explore and fall in love with Disneyland Resort. My love for the parks really kicked into overdrive a few years ago. During my husband’s deployment, the kids and I became Annual Passholders. That was such a special gift for us! It became the place we could go to celebrate something exciting or escape to when we needed a little extra magic.

I will never turn down a chance to make some memories whether I’m hitting up the parks with my family, for a girls day, or even by myself. There truly are always memories to be made and new snacks to discover. I can’t wait to help you make the most of your visit to ‘The Happiest Place on Earth!’
