About Me

Ahoy, from land-locked Missouri! While I may be from the Midwest, my life’s taken me and my family on adventures up and down both coasts, through the Panama Canal, down as close to the equator as Disney Cruise Line sails, and more stops at Castaway Cay than you can shake a stick at! I’m a marketer by trade, but a would-be Imagineer and life-long Disney DREAMer at heart. My family sometimes says I WISH I’d be dubbed “the most interesting man in the world” based on my tendency to collect hobbies: from music, to SCUBA diving, to woodworking and everything in-between, as well as stints as a Collegiate and professional Mascot, who am I to argue? More than anything, I love helping people discover the MAGIC and WONDER of Disney Cruise Line Vacations to show them “Disney…but make it relaxing” isn’t just a FANTASY.

About My Family

I wasn’t always a Midwesterner, I grew up in the DC area of Northern Virginia and found myself in Missouri for work where I met my wife – completely by serendipity – in a buffet line! Where else would a seasoned cruiser meet the woman of his dreams, right? The Rapunzel to my Flynn Rider, the Anna to my Kristoff, the Ellie to my Carl, the Elastigirl to my Mr. Incredible…you see where I’m going here… we make every day an adventure! Now we have our own little Jack Jack to take care of and introduce to the amazing experiences available on Disney Cruise Line. We can’t wait for the days we get to see him having fun in the “it’s a small world” nursery, The Oceaneer’s Club and Lab, and splashing around in Nemo’s Reef and the pools on the top decks! Our only wish is that our rescue pup 'Quila could sail the seas with us!

About My Disney Experience

While I’m a Disney Cruise Line Panelist, like so many of my fellow panelists, I grew up going to Walt Disney World. I remember taking the train down the East coast in a sleeper car, and there was something truly magical about going to sleep and waking up in the middle of every kid’s dream vacation. I always like to say my family’s idea to put me and my siblings in matching neon shirts to keep an eye on us was the start of the matching shirt trend! After the days of riding "Horizons" and "Dreamflight" until the parks closed, we embarked on our first Disney Cruise Line vacation in 2001, and the rest – as they say – is history. Since meeting my wife, we have set sail on amazing itineraries ranging from the Caribbean to the California Coast, up to Quebec City, and even an incredible 14-night sailing on the Panama Canal Itinerary – and we were on the first cruise ship through the NEW canal locks and made history! Like Moana, we like to say “the ocean chose us” and Disney Cruise Line helps us keep that feeling alive over and over again.
