•One of my top tips for an adult only vacation is to visit some of the incredible Lounges at the Walt Disney World Resort. These spectacular establishments are often located inside Walt Disney World Resorts or next to restaurants inside the theme parks. They serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well appetizers and even full meals, if they are located next to a restaurant. The best part is these Lounges usually do not require an advanced dining reservation! My personal favorite is the Tune-In Lounge, because you can order menu items from the 50’s Prime Time Café. ~Marc
•I almost exclusively do adults-only trips. I love taking advantage of all of the Enchanting Extras during adults only trips. Splurge on the VIP tours or The La Cava Experience at La Cava del Tequila and just treat yourself. Enjoy the little moments that your little ones might find a little less exciting, like people watching or strolling around the World Showcase. ~Ashley F.
•One of my unexpected favorite things to do on an adults-only trip is shopping! When I had my kids in tow, we usually only went into to shops that had items they were interested in. They were much too impatient to let Mom browse! On an adults-only trip I can take my time, going where I want to go. Some of my must-do shopping stops are Marketplace Co-Op and Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories at Disney Springs, and Basin White at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. ~Anne Marie
•The best part of an adults-only getaways is that you are on your own timetable, so you can do what you want when you want. Take advantage of your alone time and plan a creative date together. Plan your trip specifically around one of the four festivals at EPCOT, so you can eat all the food and take part in everything it has to offer. Slow down, soak up the ambiance around you, and truly enjoy all the details! ~Alyssa
•We're all kids at heart, but there are definite perks to an adults-only vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Stay up past your bedtime to enjoy an after fireworks drink at a Disney Resorts Collection lounge like Enchanted Rose at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Treat yourself to some uninterrupted shopping time at Disney Springs. Adults-only experiences like Jellyrolls piano bar located at Disney's BoardWalk and Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour in Magic Kingdom Park shine as beacons of adulting on any Disney itinerary. ~Jennifer
•Now that all but one of our kiddos are adults, most of our Disney vacations are just us. We find that we book more signature dining experiences to enjoy a romantic dinner out. We love the opportunity to dress up and expand our palates with some of the unique food offerings at Disney’s signature restaurants. The Tomahawk Steak at California Grill, or the Bouillabaisse at Topolino’s—Flavors of the Riviera really satisfy our mature taste buds and allow us to enjoy a romantic evening with gorgeous views. ~Malanie
•Adults-only trips can be extra magical! Personally, I'm a huge foodie, so when kids aren't in tow our friends love going all-in on the world-class food and drink at Walt Disney World Resort. Beyond the amazing restaurants and lounges, my favorite must-do adult experiences are the Agave Experience at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT and Sangria University at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, both part of Walt Disney World's Enchanting Extras Collection. Depending on the size of your group, they can be private experiences and are great options for adult group celebrations! We recently had a private Sangria University adults-only birthday party that was simply magical. ~Ryan
•If I'm in for a fun and relaxing bar experience with friends, Uva Bar & Cafe in the heart of the Downtown Disney District is where you'll find me. They have a uniquely shaped outdoor, circular venue marked by bright, yellow umbrellas and a shiny, sparkling bar, perfect for people watching. The vibe is festive, and you'll find yourself swaying to catchy Disney-inspired music while enjoying the tapas and cocktails. A refreshing Rose Sangria with a Hummus Plate sounds pretty appetizing right about now! ~Kamini
•When the adults are headed out for an evening of fun, head over to Downtown Disney District, where you will stumble upon great live entertainment, excellent options for dinner such as Ballast Point Brewing Co., and tons of shopping. And throughout your adults-only stay, don't forget to save time for some must-do attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. My personal favorites for an adults-only trip are Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Incredicoaster! ~ Lola
•When my wife and I head to The Happiest Place on Earth without the children, we love to take that opportunity to treat ourselves to the magic and luxury of a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Our adults-only trips are usually during special occasions like my wife’s birthday or our wedding anniversary. The Disneyland Resort makes celebrating special occasions together even more magical. The biggest perk? That is being able to do what we want when we want. For my wife and I, that means lots and lots of attractions! We also love relaxing by the pool, sipping a delicious Lava Smoothie from the pool bar. There are plenty of other wonderful activities for adults to enjoy, including the new Tenaya Stone Spa inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where you can enjoy a pedicure, massage, or other spa service mere steps from your hotel room. ~Tony
•I love traveling to the Disney parks with my kids, but the one thing I never seem to get to do is enjoy a relaxing meal for an extended period of time without putting on a small circus to keep them entertained. When I'm with friends, I always try to make sure we get some seated downtime to enjoy each other's company at the Happiest Place on Earth! You will usually find us at the Carnation Cafe. Call me nostalgic, but I just love everything about it, from its nestled spot right on Main Street, U.S.A., to the menu with some of Walt's favorite dishes. ~Tara
•If you're cruising an itinerary with a stop at Disney Castaway Cay, hop a tram (or if you're crazy like my wife and I - walk) to Serenity Bay! This adults-only side of the island is a crescent-shaped slice of white sand heaven in the Bahamas. Get there early enough, and you might just be able to squeeze in a beach yoga session, if offered on your itinerary, before setting up shop to take in the beautiful sights...without the usual sounds...that come with an island getaway. ~Andrew
