Top 10 Souvenirs

National Plan for Vacation Day

  1. Souvenir Favorites

    1. Magnets“My family purchases a magnet from each resort we stay at. The side of our refrigerator is a fun collage of memories and it’s fun to try to “collect them all” as we attempt to stay at every Walt Disney World Resort hotel.” ~ Robyn

    2. A Christmas Ornament“My family and I always pick up a new Christmas ornament when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I love reminiscing about all our special visits when we decorate our Christmas tree! If you're visiting in the summer, don't worry, you can still find Christmas ornaments at the theme parks. "Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe"in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park, decks the halls all year long, with lots of ornaments and decorations to choose from. The "Old World" charms of a German Christmas, can also be found at "Die Weihnachts Ecke" inside Epcot's World Showcase. And don’t forget “Disney’s Days of Christmas” located at Disney Springs!” ~ Veronica

    3. Silhouette Portraits"Our favorite souvenirs are silhouette portraits. They are so unique and we get new ones every time we visit.” ~ Thiana

    4. Pins“The first souvenir I buy on every visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a seasonal pin or a pin with the date on it. If there is a special event happening, we bring home a pin from that event as well. We enjoy looking back at our pins as they all tell a story of our vacation.” ~ Stephanie

    5. Coffee Mugs“I collect a Disney Resort hotel coffee mug from every resort I stay at. Coffee is a staple in my life and one of my mottos is “sometimes pixie dust comes in the form of coffee grounds,” so it makes perfect sense to incorporate Disney magic into my morning every day with a special coffee cup!” ~ Tabitha

    6. Spirit Jerseys“I have recently discovered how amazing Spirit Jerseys are. I had held off on my first purchase thinking I wouldn't get enough use out of it in the Georgia heat. Boy, was I wrong! Now, I purchase one almost every trip and have one for Christmas, Halloween, and my husband even bought me one to commemorate the purchase of our Disney Vacation Club membership!” ~ Sarah

    7. Photos“Some of my favorite souvenirs from Walt Disney World Resort are my photos. The Disney PhotoPass photographers always capture those pixie-dusted moments so perfectly.  I still treasure the candid photos that one of the photographers snapped of my daughter dancing on Main Street, U.S.A. when she was four-years-old. I highly recommend purchasing Memory Maker for unlimited downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass Service pictures.  Your photos will be the perfect souvenirs to remind you of your magical vacation for years to come.” ~ Samantha

    8. Snacks (special only to Disney) - "We like to bring home Disney treats to enjoy after our vacation is over. Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treats are sturdy and travel well. I have also brought home bakery items, caramel apples, and even macarons from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (located in World Showcase in Epcot).” ~ Anne Marie

    9. Resort Themed Gifts“My very favorite souvenirs to take home are the ones themed to the Resort hotel we’re staying at on that visit. When you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you fall in love with the entire resort hotel experience. And a way to bring a bit of that experience back home is to purchase some resort themed souvenirs like mugs, pins, or if you’re like me, a robe from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa because it’s the comfiest robe ever!” ~Aena

    10.  Ears"Along with stuffed animals, my girls always bring home a new set of Ears! No matter how many they may have at home, the latest edition of Ears always seems to make it home with us!” ~ Donyell

planDisney Souvenir Tip for Families Traveling with Kids: “Our kids arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort with their very own Disney Gift Cards that are pre-loaded with a set amount of money that they may spend on vacation souvenirs. They know that once their personal Disney Gift Card is used up, they no longer may shop for souvenirs. The gift cards help curb the “gimmes” and encourage my kids to shop wisely!” ~ Ashley
