What's in Your Park Bag?

National Plan for Vacation Day 2023

  1. The Everyday Park Bag

Photo of Disney supplies essential to your Disney tripYour travel party is ready to conquer all the attractions, dining and of course the snacks. But what do guests need in their park bag? According to the majority of our panelists, sunglasses, hand sanitizer and ears are at the top of the list. Mandy is not going anywhere without her portable charger and hair ties to keep her cool on a warm summer day. Is pin trading your thing? Then Michelle D. advises packing a few extra pins to start the fun of pin trading. An umbrella is also high on the list, as is an extra shirt just in case that DOLE Whip gets messy. While most of us don’t leave home without our phones, a Disney-themed phone case makes the perfect Disney vacation accessory.

  2. The Kids Park Bag

Sure, many of the items listed above would also be packed in a bag for your kiddos, but there are a few other necessities we think you won’t want to miss. Sunscreen, a Minnie Mouse hat and a stroller fan top the list for our panelists as the sun can be very warm in California and Florida. Eean suggests an autograph book and pen be packed in your bag for when your child meets their favorite Disney character. Bubbles for fun and keeping children occupied. And who does not love an Ariel wand? (Adults we promise we won’t tell anyone if we find one in your bag!) An OtterBox portable charger should also be in your bag to keep that phone charged for precious photos, and we all love a spirit jersey in case of cool evenings in the fall and winter. Truly there are those occasional cool days and evenings!

  3. The Adult Park Bag

Along with the necessities like a phone charger, sunscreen, and Mickey ears, let’s not forget the Disney gift card. Use it for shopping, dining, or enjoying adult beverages. How about an extra Mickey Mouse t-shirt or even a ball cap? Not only are caps a great way to keep the sun out, but they are also super cute! Ryan reminds guest to make sure they have their photo ID in that bag just in case you are looking exceptionally young that day and a Cast Member needs to check your ID for an adult libation. Finally, an extra pair of shoes, ibuprofen, and a MagicBand+ also made the list of our panelists’ essentials.
