Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Planning Checklist
1.Create your My Disney Experience Account
As you book your vacation and link your plans to your My Disney Experience account, use the “My Plans” page on DisneyWorld.com or the “Future Plans” page on the My Disney Experience app to manage your vacation details all in one place.
2.Download the My Disney Experience App
The My Disney Experience mobile app allows you to view and update your plans, access special planning tools like Disney Genie service, and use convenient features like online check-in, mobile order, and merchandise mobile checkout.
3.Decide on Dates & Length of Stay
Decide how many days you’d like to stay and check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to confirm that reservations are available for the dates you’d like to visit. Unsure when to visit? Browse the Special Events page to see if there are any seasonal events that may help guide your date selection!
4.Choose Your Resort
Check out the planDisney Resort Pocket Guide collection to see which resort is best for your travel party and book your stay in the magic!
5.Purchase Theme Park Tickets & Make Reservations
Decide how many days you’d like to visit the theme parks, if you want to visit one park per day or park hop, and if you'd like to add any extras, such as the Water Park and Sports option. Purchase your tickets and make your theme park reservations. Consider booking a room-and-ticket package to receive discounts and offerings on dining, entertainment and more!
6.Choose Your Method of Entry
Once you’ve purchased your tickets and linked the tickets to your My Disney Experience account, enable MagicMobile or link your MagicBand. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can order MagicBand and MagicBand+ at a special pre-arrival price!
7.Book Dining Reservations
Set a reminder! If you are a Disney Resort hotel guest, you can begin to make reservations 60 days in advance for your entire length of stay (up to a 10-night stay). All other guests can begin to make reservations 60 days in advance.
8.Browse Enchanted Extras Collection Offerings
Guests with valid theme park admission and theme park reservations can make reservations for Savi’s Workshop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and other Enchanting Extras Collection experiences beginning 60 days in advance. Don’t miss out on seasonal ticketed events that may occur during your visit such Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Guests who want to add extra magic to their visit can choose to make reservations for experiences like Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort, and other Enchanting Extras offerings up to 60 days in advance.
8. Experience MagicBand+
MagicBand+ provides hands-free convenience and a new dimension of Disney storytelling to let you see and feel new experiences in the park. Visit shopDisney.com to purchase your MagicBand+ before your visit. You can also find MagicBand+ in select Disneyland Resort retail locations.

1. Browse Itineraries
Discover itineraries that sail to places around the world! Browse sailing dates, departure ports, cruise length, and ports of call to decide which sailing is right for your travel party.
2. Book Your Cruise
Once you've selected your itinerary, you'll begin the booking process where you will choose your stateroom. You can then pay in full, make a partial payment or put down a deposit to hold your reservation.
3. Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App
You can use the Navigator app to explore your ship, read articles and learn helpful tips before your cruise. You can also make modifications to your reservation, add special requests and services, and pre-pay gratuities. While on board, the app allows you to see all the activities on your cruise, view menus, communicate with your travel party and more.
4. Book On Board Activities and Port Adventures
Once your cruise is paid in full, and you’ve reached your booking activities window, you can reserve Port Adventures, spa treatments, adult-exclusive dining and more. If you're a first-time Disney cruiser, you can begin booking 75 days before your sailing date. Castaway Club members can book further in advance! Be sure to book your desired activities as soon as possible as activities may fill up fast.
5. Pre-Book Photo Packages
Consider booking a photo package to capture all magic that goes along with a Disney cruise. Pre-book select photo products at least 3 days before the start of your cruise for a discount off the on-board price!
6. Final Preparations
Make sure you have your travel documents with you as you board the ship, not in your checked luggage. You’ll need everyone’s passport or citizenship documents for check-in at the port. To ensure smooth sailing, review the prohibited items list before you arrive at the port.

1.Choose Dates & Confirm Your Booking Window
You can begin making reservations for your Home Resort as early as 11 months before your check-in date and as early as 7 months before your check-in date for all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts. 2.Confirm How Many Points You’ll Need
Visit the Disney Vacation Club website and view the Points Charts for each destination to determine how many Vacation Points are required for your stay. If you don't have enough Vacation Points, you'll be given the option to borrow from your upcoming Use Year.
3.Book Your Stay
When the online booking window opens at 8 AM Eastern Time, you can book a Disney Vacation Club stay!
4.Join the Waitlist
If a Disney Vacation Club Resort is unavailable that matches your specifications, you can request to be placed on the Waitlist for that resort.
