Disney Cruise Line: Updates to Know Before You Set Sail

  1. Disney Cruise Line: Updates to Know Before You Set Sail

Getting ready for a Disney cruise is part of the fun — the countdown, the packing lists, and dreaming about that sail away party. As part of our ongoing planning, Disney Cruise Line continuously reviews guest policies to help provide the best possible experience for everyone onboard.

Here are a few updates to know before you go. The following changes will take effect on sailings beginning June 3, 2026:

    • Photo and Video Equipment: To help keep shared spaces safe and comfortable for everyone onboard, selfie sticks, hand held extension poles, and tripods may be brought onboard and used in most areas, as long as they are folded down and no longer than 18 inches. Items exceeding this length must be stored in the Guest’s stateroom and may only be used on land in ports of call.
    • Stateroom Hallway Decorating: We greatly enjoy the creativity our Guests bring to their stateroom door decorations. Decorations will continue be permitted on stateroom doors. For Guest safety, decorations will no longer be allowed on hallway walls or ceilings.
    • Bringing Alcoholic Beverages Onboard: Guests ages 21 and older may bring a maximum of 1 bottle of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces each) onboard at the beginning of the voyage. These items must be packed in carry on (not checked) bags or luggage. Liquors, spirits, wine and beer purchased in ports of call will be stored until the end of the cruise.
      • Note: For sailings of the Disney Adventure departing from Singapore, this policy applies to Guests ages 18 and older.

We look forward to seeing how Guests continue to celebrate this special Disney Cruise Line tradition.
