Hiya Sarah! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
Oh boy! Only a couple of more days until you arrive! I'm sure you and the rest of your traveling party must be overly excited!
Oh, the pesky work meeting. As much as I try to detach completely from the outside world when visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort, it never seems to work out for me either. But, if you need to take a call, where else would you rather be than at the Magic Kingdom! Once you finish your call, you can jump back into the fun!
Your best option will be to head back to Storybook Circus in Fantasyland, just past
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and
The Barnstormer. There is an area next to Pete's Silly Side Show that has outlets available and benches to sit on. This is also a less crowded area, which should work out great for your meeting. My family took some time to relax in this area during our last visit since there were not a ton of people around.
If you want to grab a bite to eat or a cold drink, stop by
Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square and head to the upstairs dining room. It will be less noisy than downstairs, and there are plenty of outlets next to many of the tables. This location does not open until 11 AM, so keep this in mind depending on what time your meeting begins.
If you are attending your meeting using your mobile device, I suggest bringing a portable battery that you can plug into. This will keep your device charged and allow you even more flexibility on where you can go. I love the side street off Main Street, U.S.A., directly across from
Disney Clothiers. There are usually small tables set up over there where you can sit down and get away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street, U.S.A.
Sarah, I hope this information helps you plan your day. I've had to break off a few times from my family for an important call, but being able to take it in the park and get right back to them is the best idea!
Have a magical trip! See ya real soon!
Greg
