    Hi Mariela,

I know planning a Disney vacation can seem overwhelming at first, but once you make a few dining reservations and figure out your must see attractions, I think you'll start really enjoying the planning process!

Here is a basic plan for you to start with.  I've listed a morning park & character breakfast as well as an afternoon park and dinner option. Feel free to submit another question either to the mom's panel or to me, directly, by clicking on my picture under "Meet the Moms" on our website for more information that you may need.
    • 8/23 - I'm not sure if you are planning to do a park on this day.  If your flight arrives late, you may want to enjoy a meal outside of the parks.
    • 8/24 -A.M.: Donald's Safari Breakfast in Animal Kingdom -  P.M. Dinner at Coral Reef in Epcot
    • 8/25- A.M.: Breakfast at Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom - P.M. Return to Magic Kingdom & have Dinner at 'Ohana in the Polynesian or Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge
    • 8/26- A.M.: Grab a quick bite at your food court & head to Hollywood Studios.  Eat lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe.  P.M. - Dinner at Teppen Edo in Japan at Epcot.
    • 8/27- A.M.: Breakfast at resort, lunch at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom - or try the new Picnic in the park.  P.M. Make reservations for Fantasmic! Dining Package - Mama Melrose's at Hollywood Studios
    • 8/28- A.M.: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's in Magic Kingdom - P.M. make reservations for Mickey's Backyard Barbecue or dine at a restaurant close to Magic Kingdom & spend your last evening there.
    • 8/29-  again - not sure how early your flight leaves.  You may not have time to do anything more than grab a quick bite at your resort.
Hope this helps get you started!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
