Howdy, Sharon! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so glad you asked this question because there are different ticket requirements for 2- and 3-year-olds. First, your 2-year-old is considered a Guest of Mickey which means he/she will not need a ticket to enter either theme park. Your 3-year-old, however, will need a ticket in order to enjoy the Disneyland Resort, but that ticket is offered at a slightly less expensive price than an adult ticket. If you
buy your tickets online, you will select how many adult and how many child tickets to add to your purchase.
Since you’ll be traveling with little ones, I wanted to let you know that there are
over 40 attractions that do not have height restrictions which means the whole family can ride together. This includes Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Toy Story Midway Mania, and many more. Plus, your kids might really enjoy meeting the many characters that are available around both parks. My daughter loves meeting princesses at Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire and Spider-Man and Captain America in Disney California Adventure Park. Use the
Disneyland app to locate your favorite characters, look up attraction wait times, and much more!
I hope this information is helpful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
