My 7 yrs old has Scoliosis and recently had rods placed in her spine. I know it will be very hard to stand in lines for a long period of time. We do not have a handicap pass. Is there anything I can do so she will not have to wait in long lines?

    Hi Joanne,

When you arrive at any of the theme parks at Walt Disney World, go to Guest Relations and speak with a Cast Member about your daughter's condition.  She will need to be with you.  You can have a note from her Doctor if you would like detailing her restrictions but that is really not necessary.  The Cast Member will give you a Guest Assistance Card (GAC) which will allow your whole party to bypass the long lines.  If would be good to discuss with her Doctor if there are any attractions that she should not be riding such as roller coasters like Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, Space or Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom, or Rock 'n' Rollercoaster at Hollywood Studios.  I know you will have such a magical vacation! Please let me know if I can assist you further, Joanne.
