3 yrs ago we loved staying at the Art of Animation. In March we staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and we're so excited. At AoA there were cast members at the main pool with activities for kids. Is it the same at Animal Kingdom Lodge? My kids hope so!

    Hi Kristina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! You’re going to love Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - it’s probably my favourite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel (even though I do like Disney’s Art of Animation Resort too).

Your kids are going to be THRILLED to know that there are definitely Activities Cast Members located at both Uzima Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) and at Samawati Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. They’ll be running several activities throughout the day for both the young, and the young at heart.

I know that the schedule changes daily, so please make sure to get an Activities Guide when you check in. If there are any specific activities that your kids love (like hula hoop contests and trivia), be sure to check the board near the pool deck for up-to-the-minute information.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
