4 YR OLD and 1YR OLD; trying to decide between AK kidani studio savanna view, or lodge bunkbed savanna view....any advice? mostly interested in seeing the animals particularly giraffes from our balcony.

    Hi Kathy,

Since both of your room choices offer a savanna view, I would go with the studio at Kidani Village.  I believe that giraffes are the only animal at Animal Kingdom Lodge that can be seen on all of the savannas, so you'll be able to see them, regardless of which room you choose.

The pool area at Kidani Village is what gives this resort some added appeal.  With little ones, I'm sure you'll want to take some breaks during the day to nap and have a little down time.  The Samawati Springs pool offers a zero-depth entry which is ideal with small children.  In addition, there is a water play area know as Uwanja Camp with bridges, slides, water cannons, and a variety of objects that mist, squirt or dump water.  It's a great place to run around and burn off some extra energy.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
